NATIONAL STUDENT ADVERTISING COMPETITION (NSAC)

Eighteen finalists will vie for national honors when they present their integrated marketing plans to this year's sponsor, the Coca-Cola Company, and industry executives at the AAF National Conference 2007.

NATIONAL AD 2 RAFFLE

Ad 2 is a nationwide network of clubs whose members are employed, or interested, in advertising and its related fields and are 32 years of age or younger. Part of Ad 2's mission is to serve the community through charitable events and activities in cities where there are Ad 2 chapters. In order to finance these projects, Ad 2 holds its only fundraiser every year at the AAF National Conference. This year, Ad 2 is planning a raffle. Tickets will be sold at the National Ad 2 booth as well as throughout the conference by Ad 2 members and will be $25.00 for one or six for $125. Winners will be contacted by mail shortly after the conference by National Ad 2.


AN AFTERNOON AT THE RACES


June 8, 3:00 p.m. ­ 7:00 p.m.

Join the Advertising Federation of Louisville for an afternoon of racing and networking at the world famous Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. Official conference business will wrap up early, so you'll have plenty of time for this exciting event.


The afternoon will include:


    * A delicious buffet

    * Transportation (Buses will run every 20 minutes.)

    * Admission to the Kentucky Derby Museum and gift shop

    * A Mystery Betting Voucher that will buy you at least one lucky bet, some worth $50 of betting fun!

    * A "Win for Losin'" drawing after each race.

AAF/ADVERTISING FEDERATION OF LOUISVILLE GOLF TOURNEY

 June 6, 11:30 a.m.


The Advertising Federation of Louisville, with underwriting from Hilliard-Lyons, has arranged a best-ball golf tourney with individual and team prizes at Persimmon Ridge.


Persimmon Ridge is an Arthur Hills­designed golf course currently rated number two in Kentucky behind the nearby Jack Nicklaus Course at Valhalla (site of the 2008 Ryder Cup). Arthur Hills and Associates have designed courses in all parts of the United States as well as Europe and the Far East. Big Horn in Palm Desert is one of the more famous designs in California.


Box lunches will be distributed before a shotgun start at one p.m. A driving range and a practice putting green will be available for all participants.

For all other players, the price is $125, which includes round-trip bus transportation from the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
