Sugar Land, TX -- Ideas & MORE announced today that its Creative Wizard, Joe Fournet, will be the guest speaker March 10 at the professional development luncheon of the American Advertising Federation - Corpus Christi. The topic: "Kick-Starting Creativity Without Screwing Up the Idea."
Fournet, a member of the AAF Houston Board of Directors, just returned from delivering a similar presentation to the folks at AAF-Lubbock last month. "This topic seems to be very popular with different ad clubs around the Tenth District of AAF," observes Fournet. "I've had several requests for it dating back to last Fall. I think it's because we all need a fresh approach to the creative process in order to fully deliver what our clients need. Creativity is all about fun; that is, as long as one doesn't screw up the idea in the process."
Whether it be his Creativity Survival Kit (and the border patrol story involving the Energizer Bunny) or explanations of several brainstorming techniques, Fournet says he likes to provide the club members and guests with enough information and suggestions so they can return to their respective offices and put some of these tips straight to work.
As most ad clubs have members of all ages and experience levels within the industry, Fournet's creativity presentations touch upon pertinent aspects of this profession and how best to deliver an innovative idea to the client that actually may work. That's a novel idea in these troubling times.
