(Houston, Texas) -- Susan Saurage-Altenloh, president of Saurage Research Inc., has been elected to serve as Governor of the Tenth District of the American Advertising Federation. She will officially take this office on July 1, 2007.
The American Advertising Federation is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has a national network of 200 ad clubs across the country. The AAF Tenth District includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana.
Saurage-Altenloh is former president of the Houston Advertising Federation (2002-2003) and served on the HAF board for four years. She is also past president of the American Marketing Association, Houston (1999-2000), and is an adjunct professor at Houston Baptist University. At the national level, she is an active member of the Marketing Research Association and the Qualitative Research Consultants Association. Her professional awards include the Silver Medal Award in the American Advertising Federation and the Jaycees Outstanding Young Woman of the Year Award.
