Susan Saurage-Altenloh Elected to Board of Directors for Global Organization, Qualitative Research Consultants Assocation

Susan Saurage-Altenloh, president of Saurage Research Inc., has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Qualitative Research Consultants Association for 2009-2011. 


QRCA is a leading global organization focused on excellence in qualitative research. The 1,000+ members from around the world include focus group moderators, facilitators, interviewers, and planners in many types of qualitative research. Their expertise includes focus groups, individual depth interviews (IDIs), ethnography, observational research, usability research, idea generation, and other qualitative approaches in-person and online.


Saurage-Altenloh is the former Co-chair of QRCA's Creativity and Innovation Shared Interest Group. She has also served as Technology Chair and Webmaster for the group. Saurage-Altenloh is former governor of the Tenth District of the American Advertising Federation (2007-2008).  She has served as president of AAF Houston (2002-2003) and served on the AAF Houston board for four years. She is also past president of the American Marketing Association, Houston (1999-2000); an adjunct professor at Houston Baptist University; and an active member of the Marketing Research Association. Her professional awards include the Silver Medal Award in the American Advertising Federation and the Jaycees Outstanding Young Woman of the Year Award.
