Friends of Brett Pass Out Flyers to Help Find Killer
Crime Stoppers held a second press conference on a recent Saturday afternoon to focus attention on an effort to gain any information that might help solve the murder of Brett Elliott. Friends and relatives spent Saturday afternoon passing out flyers in his neighborhood in hopes of getting a tip. Relatives have asked the community to spread the word about the reward offered by Crime Stoppers of Houston; maybe someone knows something.

Crime Stoppers and Homicide Investigators with the Houston Police Department are seeking the public's help with any information on the March 30, 2009 murder of Brett Elliott.
On Monday March 30th around 5:45 to 6:00 a.m., a man noticed smoke coming from his neighbor's townhouse located at 9850 Pagewood. He called 911 and the Houston Fire Department arrived. After the fire was extinguished firefighters found the body of Brett Elliott. He had sustained injuries that were not caused by the fire.
Anyone with any information or anyone who might have seen something unusual that morning or in the week prior to the murder is urged to call Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
