Dwight Douthit Named to AAF National Board of Directors

^{Local ad man, Dwight Douthit has been appointed to the American Advertising
Federation (AAF) national board of directors. President and owner of Douthit
Design Group, Douthit has been active on the local level for most of his
professional career. He serves on the board of directors for AAF-Houston and
currently is the group’s Public Service Director.}

^{The announcement came last week at the group’s annual conference in
Orlando. During his two-year term, Douthit will represent the organization’s
Division II clubs, or those with 250 to 499 members. This will be Douthit’s
second time to serve on the AAF national board. He was appointed in the late
80’s, while serving as National Chairman of the AD2 Division, the
organization’s thirty-one and under sub-set. He also served as AAF’s National
Public Service Chairman from 1990 to 1992 and most recently on the national
ADDY committee.}

association, representing 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry. AAF
has a national network of 15 multi-state districts and more than 200 ad clubs
along with a college chapter program of 225 affiliated chapters throughout the
