AEFH Scholarships
The Advertising Education Foundation of Houston (AEFH) supports education through, among other activities, granting scholarships to undergraduate and post-graduate students. Eligible institutions include not-for-profit or state-supported institutions. Preference will be given to Houston area residents attending colleges and universities in any location, or to students who are attending Houston area institutions. The student must be majoring in marketing, advertising, journalism, communications, graphic design or a related field. Scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified student within the guidelines of financial need, GPA, written and verbal communications skills, and general community and volunteer activities. Students must also demonstrate commitment to the communications industry with internship/work experience, industry activities, participation in communications-focused professional or campus organizations.
The application to apply for the 2010-2011 terms will be available by October 2009, with a filing deadline of March 15, 2010.

- The Locke Bryan Director's Scholarship Fund
- The Brett Elliott Education Fund
Students eligible for applying include those with permanent residence in Houston or who are attending a Houston area college, university or eligible institution. Past scholarship winners include students from:
- The University of Houston
- The University of Texas
- Texas State University
- Texas A&M University
- Sam Houston State University
- Stephen F. Austin University
- Howard Payne University
- Texas Southern University
- The University of St. Thomas
