As partner, SVP and Executive Creative Director at Sanders\Wingo, Scott brings blue-chip brand experience and an eye for bold creative work to our clients. His hallmarks are simple, vibrant concepts based on honest strategy.
A graduate of the Portfolio Center, Scott worked at Earle Palmer Brown in Atlanta and Bethesda, Maryland, before joining GSD&M in 1992. In 1998 he was named Vice President / Creative Director, on a team responsible for a large portion of the agency’s billings.
Since joining Sanders\Wingo in 2002, he has steered the agency as it’s doubled in size, and led the team to several national awards, including The One Show, Communication Arts Design Annual and Black Enterprise Magazine’s 2009 Advertising Agency of the Year.
Scott’s work has been showcased in the Austin and the District Addys, the PRINT Regional Design Annual, Lurzer’s Archive, The One Show and the Communication Arts Advertising Annual and Design Annual. His portfolio includes work from AT&T, Pennzoil, Shell, Chili’s, State Farm, Chevrolet, YMCA and Goodwill Industries, among many others.
Scott recently served on the advertising jury for the 89th Annual of the Art Directors Club in New York. He is a frequent lecturer on advertising creative at the University of Texas at Austin and serves on the board of directors for the Austin Advertising Federation.
Scott lives in Austin with his wife, Kathryn, and their young daughter, Amelia.
