The Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame is proud to announce its 2015 Class of Inductees from Houston: Locke and Camille Bryan, Locke Bryan Productions, Brenda Love, Love Advertising, and Bill Young, Bill Young Productions. They join Cecil B. “Bud” Phillips of Dallas. Each of these five distinguished honorees has made significant contributions to the advertising industry and in their communities.
“We’re pleased to be in Houston for our annual induction ceremony this year. With four distinguished honorees from Houston, and an outstanding gentlemn from Dallas, the Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame is continuing to grow a roster of men and women who have made a significant impact on the advertising industry and their communities,” said Randy Kemp, Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame co-chair.
AAF-Houston will host this year’s annual induction ceremony recognizing the 2015 Class of the Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame. The reception and awards dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015, at The Junior League of Houston. The awards celebration is being held in conjunction with the AAF District 10 Summit, the district’s annual leadership conference. Visit the “upcoming events section” at www.aaf-houston.org to reserve tickets and access sponsorship information.
"This year’s SW Advertising Hall of Fame awards ceremony will be held in Houston for the first time ever. Initiated in 2008, the awards program is similar to the national AAF’s Advertising Hall of Fame, which has been honoring advertising professionals from throughout the country since 1948. Our inductees are automatically nominated for the National Advertising Hall of Fame as they become eligible. The AAF Tenth District is very proud of this year’s honorees and the impact they have made on the Southwest’s advertising industry,” said Jay Hagins, Governor of AAF Tenth District, which represents AAF affiliates in Arkansas, western Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.
