JOHN F. ELIOT, PH.D., relative of T.S. Eliot and a long line of Harvard presidents, is an award winning professor of management, psychology, and human performance. He holds faculty appointments at Rice University, the Texas Medical Center, and the SMU Cox School of Business Leadership Center. He is a Phi Beta Kappa Ivy League graduate, and co-founder of the Milestone Group, a consulting firm providing training, assessment, and education to business executives, professional athletes, physicians, performing artists, and corporations nationwide. Dr. Eliot’s cutting edge work has been featured on ABC, MSNBC, CBS, ESPN, Fox Sports, NPR, and highlighted in the Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, New York Daily News, Entrepreneur, the Washington Post, USA Today, and the New York Times. His latest book, Overachievement, arrived on bookstore shelves in October, 2004, and is approaching bestseller status. Dr. Eliot is a former All-American baseball and rugby player, and junior ski champion. He resides in Houston, Texas where he spends his free time exercising and volunteering for Little League Baseball, the Special Olympics, and Habitat for Humanity.
